This new site is under construction. It will provide a summary of my work over 43+ years to analyse, design and develop large-scale, geospatial inventories and models of natural, built and social environments. These systems were developed for small to very large public and private sector clients, and typically encompass multiple interdependent systems, their behaviors and interactions at different levels of detail and timeframes (local to global, minutes to days to years).

Specifically within the field of dam safety, starting in May 2000, I helped to initiate, develop, validate and apply the BC Hydro Life Safety Model, which is an agent-based simulator that estimates life and structural loss consequences of water dam failures. I have also provided input to improve and validate the US Army Corps of Engineers - Risk Management Center's LifeSim simulator.

Currently, I also provide technical leadership to BC Hydro as they develop 3D digital twins of their water dams portfolio, and a web-based GIS interface called the Dam Safety Information System (DSIS) that allows their dam safety engineers to view 2D and 3D representations of dam facilities. This includes integration of reservoir operations, real-time access to dam instrument readings, support for inspection programs, and digital library access to engineering reports associated with each site.​​
